late winter second year. This winter I re-designed the tree. The 'right hand' trunks had to go. The idea is to bring more movement in the trunk line and to make the crown "lighter".
Spring first year. The leaves are still very big. This was not expected... Probably due to too rich soil. We will have to fix that later on.

Spring first year as a bonsai! This tree has been cultivated in open field for nine years! Pulled it out the growing plot in early spring. Washed out and pruned the roots. Also lightly pruned some branches.
